This project started as a way to practice the\u00c2\u00a0things I have learnt about crochet<\/a>. I wanted to learn to make a flat circle, \u00c2\u00a0but once I had done that I didn’t want to stop! I ended up with this pretty little bowl for eggs, walnuts, wool, anything you might put in a bowl really (probably not cereal).<\/p>\n

Yarn: Debbie Bliss Bella (1 50g ball in cream, 10g mauve (aprox))
\nHook: 5mm<\/p>\n

Cast on<\/strong> 6 stitches in cream using the magic circle method.<\/p>\n

Row 1: Increase in every stitch. (12 stitches)
\nRow 2: Single crochet. Increase in every other stitch. (18 stitches)
\nRow 3: Single crochet. Increase in every third stitch. (24 stitches)
\nRow 4: Single crochet. Increase in every fourth stitch. (30 stitches)
\nRow 5: Single crochet. Increase in every fifth stitch. (36 stitches)
\nRow 6: Increase in every sixth stitch. (42 stitches)
\nRow 7: Single crochet. Increase in every seventh stitch. (48 stitches)
\nRow 8: Single crochet. Increase in every eighth stitch. (54 stitches)
\nRow 9: Single crochet. Increase in every ninth stitch. (60 stitches)
\nRow 10: Single crochet. Increase in every tenth stitch. (66 stitches)
\nRow 11: Increase in every eleventh stitch. (72 stitches)<\/p>\n

Rows 12 – 15: Single crochet.
\nRow 15: Single crochet using mauve.
\nRows 16 – 19: Single crochet using cream.
\nRow 20: Single crochet using mauve.
\nRows 21 – 22: Single crochet using cream.<\/p>\n

Row 23: Single crochet. Decrease 6 stitches in this row by decreasing in every eleventh and twelfth stitch.<\/p>\n

Row 24:\u00c2\u00a0Single crochet. Decrease 6 stitches in this row by decreasing in every tenth and eleventh stitch.<\/p>\n

Row 25:\u00c2\u00a0Single crochet in mauve. Decrease 6 stitches in this row by decreasing in every ninth and tenth stitch.<\/p>\n

Pull mauve yarn through final stitch to cast off.<\/p>\n

Weave in loose ends.<\/p>\n
